So Washington Mutual is closing the call centers here and in Jacksonville, FL. We're too expensive to keep open, apparently, and most of the work is going to be outsourced to Manila. Domestically, San Antonio, Albion, and Milwaukie (don't ask me why the bank has a call center there, there's no WaMus for uh, a long ways away) are going to be taking up the slack. My last day is July 31st. At least I get severance.
I don't know what to think of it right now, really. But it's still pretty lame.
