pearwaldorfI worked on the 4th of July so the yuppies could get their gardenburgers and organic spelt hamburger buns for their backyard barbeques. I am okay with this, especially considering they paid me double and a half for it. That is my pet deposit right there (Be grateful Zoey, you were given to us for free, but you're still an expensive little bitch).
I don't like this country much, the people that run it are a bunch of corrupt money-hungry idiots with their thumbs stuck up their asses who couldn't figure out foreign policy that doesn't involve "Impose our hegemonic will over everybody else", and most of the social and moral mores its citizens hold have absolutely no basis except in a repressed Puritan society and The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism, but I am glad to live in it all the same, especially because I can express those sentiments. (Cf Sequoia and Cody) That is the gift my parents gave to me, and while I will exercise some privileges more than others, I am still humbled to be in a country that allows me to do so.
