May. 12th, 2002 01:11 amWatched half of SNL coz Kirsten Dunst is cool and such. Big mistake.
What the FUCK are the writers of SNL on this season? And advertisers in general. Not only were the three skits I saw painfully unfunny and just head-explodingly surreal, I was then subjected to one of the Mike's Hard Lemonade ads that if I were a corporate exec, would not want associated with my product. Maybe they're trying to appeal to the wannabe hippie crowd. Drink this and you'll be as tripped out as the commercials you see! I don't know. It just seems that to win over an increasingly shrinking market that has already been won over by products they make, companies are increasingly resorting to stupid gimmicks. Sometimes I want to move into a cabin in the woods and make like an un-introspective inarticulate Thoreau.
