Oogh. I'm so excited I can hardly sleep. ::bouncebouncebounce:: Mmkay. Cody and April and I went to turn in our applicatons for the apartment, and they said that as soon as we were given applications, a hold was put on the apartment for us. So we have housing for the school year and possibly beyond. That makes me very happy.

And April told me that there are tracks from the new Tori Amos album Strange Little Girls out on the Internet. I'm downloading "'97 Bonnie and Clyde" (saw the lyrics online, creeped the fuck out by what's in Eminem's head) right now. See, the whole concept of the album is reinterpreting songs written by men from a woman's perspective, with Tori dressed up as each of the characters from the songs. And Neil Gaiman is writing little stories to go with each of the girls, which makes me incredibly happy.

I was rather surprised at the concept of the album at first, and with Tori's Ziggy Stardust-esque posing in the pictures, but now that I think about it, it makes a lot of sense. It's about reclaimation, something Tori's always been big on. The more I read about this new album, the more I can't wait for it. Cody can go on about Arcanum and how bitchin' cool it's going to be, but this is what I'm going to be putting my money on when the stores open on September 18th.
