I've seen at least one AOS fic that posited McCoy as a werewolf, and the part I like and thus remember best was his dealing with the headache and logistics of going to planets with multiple moons. So there's a little precedent for the concept.
There's a usually-weekly-sometimes DS9 rewatch which is always fun, and I bet a TOS one would be good, too. Hey, how does Sunday night work out for you for a regular digital viewing party?
