Goddamn you, Vancouver. I was so happy the Bruins won the Stanley Cup, and then you had to go and ruin it all with the rioting. No, not everybody participated, but I've seen the footage. That was not some tiny isolated group setting that big-ass fire in front of the Canada Post building (AND RIGHT NEXT TO THE CENTRAL LIBRARY WHAT THE FUCK), smashing up cars, and looting the Bay (And the Sears, lol. I was actually honestly surprised you idiots looted the Chapters on Robson too, since I never actually see you reading because you're all too busy texting your stupid friends to look when you're crossing Granville).

I have a rather fraught relationship with the city in general, but it honestly made me ill to see streets I went up and down every day defiled by such booze-fueled idiocy. I thought it was better than that, but I guess this city is still not done skewering my expectations, even after I've left.
