Sep. 26th, 2001 08:31 pmCapital One can suck my nonexistent balls. They said my new credit card would get here last Monday (requested on the 9th, seven to ten working days plus mail time), and it still hasn't arrived. I can't get my books! This is a Very Bad Thing. Too bad Working Assets has been working on restructuring their credit card forfuckingever or else I would apply gladly. So. Do you have a credit card company you like? (See, this is where I request group input ^.^)
I dropped honors and tried to get into a general study class, but I couldn't because the mentorship doesn't work with my schedule. So I'm down a core class and that means I will have to take two, count 'em, two inquiry classes next term. Do you know how much ass this is going to suck?
In lieu of any core classes, I signed up for Intro to African American Politics at the behest of Cody, whose favorite professor is teaching the class. Unfortunately, there are only six people signed up for it because the dimwits assembling the course schedule didn't put it in the catalog. (Note to self: procure a copy of the course bulletin for this year.) So I may be working a bit more than I anticipated. Or doing quite a bit of independent study.
Must go see about new credit cards with expedited approval periods and low APRs. Which I think will be few and far between.
