Bethany's take on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which I sorely need to get on DVD. And I am so utterly confused why Zhang Ziyi's character's name is translated Jen in the subtitles. In Mandarin her name is something like "Shao Lung," which I think means "little dragon." I don't have a working knowledge of Mandarin, but I could tell that the subtitles were so incredibly off in some places. I think that is my goal. If I can understand CT,HD without the subtitles, then I will consider myself fluent in Mandarin.
