I really don't know what it is about Neil Gaiman's personal life that starts bringing out the Internet crazy. (And really, Interwebs. Do many people you know hang out in bathtubs naked with their friends? [If so, send them my way if they're above the mildly attractive threshold.]) It's creepy that people feel entitled to know what he (or any other famous people) are up to.

* If I was more clever, not writing this at work, and more familiar with this I would compose a snarky riff on said video, but alas, I am not. And thus you are grateful.

Above mildly? I think I may qualify!

To be fair, if I were going to expect anyone to hang out in a bathtub naked with someone else who was just a friend, it would be Amanda Palmer. Ahahahaha

Your logic in this regard is unassailable, I must say.

I do not, in fact, hang out naked in bathtubs with my friends.

Hot tubs or public baths, however-- that's another story entirely.

Which we should totally do at some point. When's your next trip to the Left Coast?

October! Although I don't know how long I'll be around then-- I'm coming to Portland for a conference.

I have played around with the idea of not going to Portland immediately once my winter break begins-- of going somewhere else, and avoiding my family as long as possible. If you're amenable to it, that "somewhere else" could be Seattle.

We would be happy to see you. Did we take you to Paseo's last time? They have the most amazingly delicious and unhealthy tofu sandwich in the world.

No, you didn't. Remember? We got snowed out of all the cool places last time I was up there.

Hmm... it's looking like I should probably head up to Portland my first week of winter break, since that's when Christmas and my dad's birthday are. What about the next week (Dec. 27-Jan. 2)? We could do the New Year's thing! We could compensate for that one New Year's Day, ages ago, that got utterly buggered by my crap job.

Oh yeah. Snow. I remember that stuff. Time is like an ocean: it all looks the same after a while and I forget what I had for breakfast. Or something.

Hee! We could totally do a New Year's thing. We should watch the South Park movie and drink cider and try not to fall asleep at 1:00 like last time.

*laugh* I'm pretty sure I will be able to manage the latter, as I have no plans to work a shitty job at a movie theater this winter.
