redgreenblue (who now can get employee discounts at the Apple store, congrats!) talks about a devil's bargain. I feel like I might be entering one of those.

I went to the screening thingy, and it just turned out to be an incredibly informal group interview. I have a "real" interview tomorrow at three. I'm very much not thrilled about most likely having to work in a call center again, but they have benefits. And they start the month after you start working. And after six months, I'm eligible for transfer/promotion anywhere else in the complex the call center is located in, and after a year I can be transferred anywhere else in the company. It's not a bad deal, unless you consider that I'll be working in a call center for another six months.

So I don't know what to do. I need money liek whoa, and ten dollars an hour plus an 8% late shift differential isn't anything to sneeze at. But I'll be dealing with not just stupid people, but stupid people in regards to their money (or lack thereof) and fluorescent lighting. *whine* What should I do? Help me Livejournal, you're my last hope. And stuff.
