Jebus. After the eminent domain decision, I think it's finally time to write off the Supreme Court too. I don't blame O'Connor for resigning, after a season of cases like this.

Oh, Jesus CHRIST. I've been crying on and off all day. If you look on my MoveOn post, you'll see part of why. I have a fundie friend trying to tell me I'm wrong.

. . . oh my god. I wound up reading this which explains some of the reasonings behind the unfoldings in both the area of the police's decisions as well as the courts' [albeit not very well], but at the same time, the phrase, "He disobeyed the restraining order and TOOK MY KIDS" should be a fucking hint that this is not someone trying to abuse what the law has set in place.
